The NAHB Student Chapter at Arizona State University was first charted on January 28, 1995. Since then, the Chapter has given students in the Del E. Webb School of Construction an opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom to the real-world applications of completing a pro forma for a real project currently under development.
The annual HBI 4-Year Schools Construction Competition that is held at the NAHB International Builders’ Show offers our members a chance to prove themselves against over thirty other chapters competing for top honors.
Over the past decade, our chapter has done exceedingly well in placing in the top 5 consecutively for a number of years. In 2006 we brought home a second place finish, and set the bar for years to come with what judges said was, “One of the best proposals they had ever seen.”
In 2007 the team brought home a 6th place finish. We hope to continue on with that strong tradition, and bring back the 1st place trophy to ASU. To find out more about the chapter read through the pages listed on the left hand navigation.
